Olivia hurried to get dressed, she dug through her suitcase in search of the proper clothes to wear on such a outing. She was once again in search of her lost love, one that had been missing for almost four years now. Finding a pair of low rise flares, she put them on followed by a black button up shirt with quarter length sleeves. Slowly she buttoned up a half vest that was a mixture of red, black and grey, it rested just below her breasts. Turning she stared into the dingy mirror of the run down motel room in which she was staying in the small town. Straightening her shirt she let out a small sigh and turned to grab her brush. Once she had ran it through her blond locks a few times, she set the brush to the slide and slipped on a pair of black stilettos. She went back to the mirror one last time before grabbing her tote and walking out of the room.
Once outside she walked to her car, opening the door of the black 2008 eclipse she hopped in throwing her tote to the side. With he start of the engine she checked her rear-view and backed out. Once out of the parking lot she went in the direction of a bar she had heard of earlier in the day. A place called 'Merlotte's' she wasn't exactly sure what she would find there, she just hoped there would be more leads. Every piece of information she had found so far slowly pointed to this town and it's surrounding areas. Although she had leads before that got her now where. I hope I find him soon she thought. As she rounded a curve she could just make out a glowing sign that read Merlotte's through the trees. Her stomach did a sort of somersault. No matter how many times she was let down, she still had hope that she would one day find him. She knew he had to be out there, somewhere.
Finding a parking place, she parked the car and turned it off. Checking her face in the rear-view for a moment, she let out a deep breath and slowly opened the door of her car. Stepping out she locked the doors with the small button she held in her hand. Slowly she made her way to the entrance of the bar and stepped in side. Her eyes shifted around taking the decorations that adorned the walls. It seemed to be a nice little bar, but it was filled with death. The animal heads that littered the walls were a bit of a turn off, so she just decided not to look at them anymore. Taking a few more steps toward the bar, she was greeted by a man with shaggy dark blond hair. Ordering a martini, she sat at one of the stools and sipped the drink. She would start her questioning in a bit, for now she just felt like taking in the surroundings. Listen to the conversation of the locals, perhaps find leads that way.

Jason simply wanted to be alone. After leaving Olivia his life hadn't been the same. He was still terrified of what she would think of the monster he had become. Tonight he was in Merlotte's enjoying a Tru Blood and watching the crowd to pass the time. Maybe now that the synthetic blood was available he didn't need to stay separated from her anymore. They had loved each other passionately for four years, but the night he had been turned Jason simply fled as far away from her as possible. He knew she had tried tracking him down, but he was always one step ahead and managed to evade her. Jason looked around once more and his eyes locked on a lone figure sitting at the opposite end of the bar. Olivia was there with him in the same damn bar. Jason panicked a little and felt a familiar longing to be with her again all at once. He knew she would spot him and he lowered his head down, taking another sip of his drink. All the pent up emotions he had been holding inside of him suddenly returned and he couldn't help staring over at her. Olivia was just as beautiful as the day he had met her those few short years ago. The passion of their love for each other had been incredible, but the night he had been bitten and turned, Jason couldn't face her. Two years ago, vampires became public knowledge and the Tru Blood drink had allowed them to function within society. It was true he could have gone to her then, but how did he know she would forgive him for leaving her. The thought of having Olivia hate him was too heart breaking for him, yet tonight he couldn't help long to simply walk over to her and kiss her. The argument kept repeating itself in his head and Jason couldn't decide what to do. Maybe if she noticed him and made the first move, things would become clearer. As he drained the rest of the Tru Blood, Jason looked over at his lost love and prayed she would notice him quickly, or he would lose his courage and flee once more.

As Olivia sat at the bar she slowly looked around, taking in each face that surrounded her. There was one face she couldn't see though. A man on the other side of the bar who had his head down, she didn't really think much of it at first glance. Her mind began to wonder as she thought about Jason, about all they had shared. About how much she wanted to find him, she knew what he had become. She knew how difficult things might get, but she didn't care. She was still very much in love with him and no amount of time would change that. things might be difficult for them, but in the world today. A world that accepted Vampires she had to try. Yeah, she was scared of what he had become. However he love for him tossed most of her fears to the side.
Drinking down the rest of her drink she scanned the room once again, her gaze went back to the man she couldn't see. There was something about him, something that seemed familiar although she couldn't quite put her finger on it. How could some random person in a bar miles away from home be familiar? It was then he moved his head and she caught site of the side of his face. Her body felt like it would collapse. Could she really be seeing what she thought she was seeing? Was that really him? Slowly she rose to her feet, she felt shaky and suddenly very nervous. Her feet slowly shuffled across the wood floor of the bar. Before even reaching him she weakly mouthed "Jason?" she had yet to see his face fully, perhaps her mind was playing tricks on her. She seriously hoped not.

Jason froze for a moment like a deer in headlights when Olivia said his name. He looked her in the eyes before turning and bolting out the back exit. He didn't know why he felt the need to run, but seeing her like that just killed him inside and he didn't know how to react. Olivia was the one person in the world he loved more than anything or anyone else. Being apart from her was agony, but he felt that if they were together then something bad might happen to her and he couldn't live with himself if she was hurt in any way. Jason simply collapsed behind the dumpster that was behind the bar. He couldn't run anymore from her or what happened. Jason leaned against the cool metal and a single tear of blood ran down his face and splashed against the dirt. He didn't know how long it would take for her to find him, but he needed her more than anything. Olivia was like his oxygen and being away from her for this long had been torture. Jason was tired of running and hiding and being scared. He swore to himself then that he wouldn't let anything happen to her now. He was ready to have his old life back. Jason Haley was coming back to the world and he was doing it with Olivia. If she would forgive him for what he had done, Jason planned to ask her to marry him. He didn't have a ring yet, but he could get one for her later. For now, having her be his was enough. Jason looked over at the exit door and waited for the love of his life to come out and rescue him from his misery.

Olivia was just as shocked as he was, but for that split second that they shared eye contact she could see the misery that he held within. It took her a moment to process everything, she watched as he darted out the door and in that moment all breathing ceased to exist. There was no breath in her, she hadn't wanted him to run. However there was no way in hell she would let it go down like that, she had searched to far and wide to find him. Every moment of free time she had since he had left went into finding him. There was no way she would not go after him, not when he was this close. Not when moments before she had been in the same room with him. Finally releasing the breath she had been holding she ran as fast as her stiletto-clad feet would carry her. Making it out the back door she looked around, her eyes trying to make out things through the dim light of the night.
There was no sight of him, but she wasn't going stop looking. Slowly she made unsteady steps in the mushy ground, her heels digging in making her steps very wobbly. "Jason!" she called out into the night, she didn't know how close he really was. He was only steps away from her. Passing the dumpster, she didn't notice him sitting there. "Please don't do this to us" she mumbled not knowing he was so close, that she could have literally reached out and touched him if she only turned her head. Tears began to gush from her eyes. How could she just let him slip away again, when he had been so close. "Jasssooonn!" she called out again, her voice showing her true emotion.

Seeing her so desperate for him hurt Jason to the core like nothing else had. He quickly got up and used his vampire speed to get in front of her. Jason gently ran a hand through her hair before putting his hand on the base of her neck and pulling her into a kiss. The kiss that they had both been yearning for for a long time. He felt her hot tears running down his face as well now, but he didn't care. Jason continued kissing every part of her his lips could reach and he held Olivia in a tight embrace. Nothing else mattered in that moment except that he had her back in his arms and Jason felt whole again in what seemed like forever. A few minutes later he was finally able to release his lips from hers and say, "I'm so sorry Olivia. I never meant to hurt you like this, but I was scared of what you would think of me being a vampire. I promise I'll never leave your side again as long as you live. Running like this, just being away from you was torture. I never want to leave your side again Olivia, I love you so much." That said, Jason leaned down and kissed her deeply and passionately again.

Olivia almost screamed at his abrupt appearance, she hadn't expected him to just be in front of her like that. However, she didn't scream once she realized it was him. Her heart began to race as he ran his hand through her hair and she almost gasped for air. There was fear in her, but it wasn't because he was a vampire. No, she was more afraid that he might disappear again at any moment. As he kissed her, she kissed him back wrapping her arms around him. She pulled his body as close to hers as she could possibly get it as they shared there kiss. Her mind was spiriling out of control, she couldn't believe that she had actually found him. He was safe and in her arms and not some figment of her imagination. As he pulled away, she slowly blinked opening her eyes.
Now he was speaking and as she listened to him, she just wanted him to stop talking and just kiss her again. It had been hard for them both, but she had never gave up hope that they would one day be back together. As he kissed her again, she ran her finger through his hair and got lost in his kiss. It was a few more minutes before she snapped back to reality and pulled back, breaking the kiss. "Jason, I know you're sorry. I just wish you would have stopped to atleast get my opinion first. I've known for sometime what you are now, but still I continued my search. I never stopped loving you, not even for a moment. Not when I found out you were a Vampire. Alot of people would have freaked out and ran, but I love you to much to let something like that come between us. I never wanted you to go. I never wanted you to run away from me." she paused for a moment as she caught her breath. "Just please don't do this again, I don't think I could live without you again. I felt like I was falling apart every moment we were apart. I felt like my life had stopped and now that you're here with my again I feel like I can breath again. I feel like I can smile and really mean it. I love you too Jason, please never forget that" with her final word she wrapped her arms around his body, pulling him into a warm embrace.
